As the snow sits like a weight on the earth, seeds begin to swell with coiled potential beneath a blanket of regenerative hibernation. This is a time of dynamic tension as seeds prepare to burst forth and unfurl in the days to come. The more we embrace yin energy, the more we open ourselves to the verdant growth of spring.

Perfectly poised between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, the Cross-Quarter Imbolc is a time to take stock of what dreams lie dormant below the surface and start to softly awaken them into awareness.

Join Lucy and Skye for a daylong retreat designed to rekindle inspiration through acupuncture, movement, breathwork, and playful creative expression.

Please bring: yoga mat, blanket, journal, an item for a collective altar, a simple lunch for yourself.

An altar item may be an object from a special place or time in your life, or an item honoring an ancestor, or an item honoring the shift in seasons.

Lucy Marsh is an acupuncturist in Iowa City since 2015. She has been studying and practicing energy work and Chinese Medicine since 2002.

Skye Guindon is a yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner in Iowa City. She teaches hot yoga, yin yoga, breathwork and leads Moon Circles in the community.
